Brothers and Sisters,

The tour 2 and tour 3 in-section bid packets will be given out tomorrow. Tashennia Cade and Corinthia Watt will be coming around on tour 2 passing out the packets to all effected tour 2 clerks that are at work. Employees not at work, their packets will be mailed by certified mail to them. Tashennia Cade and Tim Glass will be coming around on tour 3 passing out the packets to all effected tour 3 clerks that are at work Employees not at work, their packets will be mailed by certified mail to them. Your packet has to be turned back in no later than September 8th. You can bring them in and submit them to A/Operations Support Specialist Tashennia Cade by the closing date or you may also mail your packet to:

USPS Sr. Plant Manager Office

In-section Preference

2901 Scott Futrell Drive

Charlotte, NC 28228

You will be placed into your job on September 16th. You will remain working your current schedule until September 16th. The first bid vacancy after this is completed; all of the tour 1 jobs will be on that posting for everyone in the bid cluster to bid on. I suggest that you bid on as many jobs as possible. If you bid on the regular automated bid cycle that is going on at this time also and you receive one of those bids. The bid from the regular bid cycle will take precedent over the in-section bid. Tour 1 should have received letters rescinding there letters stating that their jobs will be reposted effective August 23.  You will be receiving another letter on tour 1 stating a change date in Oct.

I thank each and every one of you for your patience and understanding during this period. We are trying to make sure that the events taking place are done within the guidelines of the contract.

Sincerely,

Anthony (Tony) Wilson

General President
